Assistant Resident Engineer

I was an assistant Resident Engineer for the Construction of a greenfield's 108 MLD tertiary wastewater treatment plant in Victoria, BC (McLoughlin Point WWTP). I was on the consulting side of a design build JV with Graham Contraction. While on site, after my coop was extended into permanent employment, I continued many of the roles that I was a part of before:• Coordinated, attended, and recorded over 400 training hours for the JV and Client staff comprised of over 50 sessions and 20 vendors across the world during a pandemic.• Directly coordinated the completion of construction 100 RFIs and 20 SIs and tracked over 1200 and 120 respectively and over 900 shop drawings by the project’s completion.• Reviewed training, maintenance, O&M submissions to be included in the plant’s training sessions and its Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).• Was the team lead member in regular client training and CMMS update meetings.• Coded an automatic program to export weekly commissioning maintenance tasks. • Performed weekly interdisciplinary site construction reviews on site.
