After eight years of being a traveling contractor who specialized in the application of coatings in U.S. penitentiaries, I realized that that wasn’t a career that would fulfill my dreams. Four years ago, I made a choice that changed the course of my life. I decided to go back to school, start fresh, and find my passion. Quickly, I realized that the world of finance really interested me. There was just something about the financial markets that drove me forward and left me eager to learn more. I found myself researching information on my own, digging deeper into the subjects in our courses. My degree in finance laid a steady ground, on which I can build off of, through new experiences and learning. The aspect of professional life I am most excited about is the new relationships I will make along the way.
