An experienced engineer on DP2 offshore vessels MPSV, ROV, CONSTRUCTION, PSV My duties in my current role include holding a watch of the engine room, operating and maintaining medium & high speed diesel engines, CPP & diesel electric propulsion systems and controls as well as auxiliary machinery, fault finding and rectification on all equipment, recording maintenance carried out, ensuring work complies with the safety management system and within the permit to work system when required, maintaining a clean safe workplace, maintaining stock levels, supervision of contractors. My other shipboard duties include engine room safety representative, FRC crew member, BA team leader.I am self motivated and enjoy learning new skills and having the opportunity to challenge myself. My problem solving abilities are one of my key strengths and are a valuable characteristic.
