Currently supporting international business development of the AP1000 and domestic business development for Stone & Webster non-nuclear projects. This support entails development of schedules and estimates along with input on design configuration and constructability.

Managed construction of the AP1000 nuclear power plant, supported constructability reviews, developed estimates and schedules. Established subcontracts for specialized work scopes.

Managed system completions through testing and turnover. Managed work completion by area up through turnover.

Mobilization and initiation of newly awarded contract. Fulfillment of all contractual requirements, management of personnel to perform on-line work and refuel outages with work consisting of all civil type support, electrical and mechanical modifications.

Management of all resources in support of the station maintenance organization for execution of outage work.

Responsibilities: Fulfillment of all contractual agreements, management of personnel to perform on-line work and refuel outages with work consisting of all civil type support, electrical and mechanical modifications. Procurement, establishment of contracts and management of specialty contractors.

Management of all asbestos abatement, insulation and scaffolding outage support.

Management of all 2nd shift disciplines during 2 refuel outages. Supervision of the civil department comprised of field superintendents, scheduler and data input personnel. Direct supervision of craft performing scaffold erection, shielding, demobe activities, decontamination, structural modifications, excavation, insulation, asbestos abatement and coatings’ applications. Coordinated between disciplines within the company, other work groups and sub-contractors for work schedule development. Determination of manpower requirements to meet completion dates within budgetary limits. Development and implementation of a computer-based scaffolding program.

Supervision of various crafts in the execution of modifications and maintenance activities. Walk down and planning of design change packages prior to issuance. Resolution of design interference’s and as-built submittals.

Supervision of craft during the construction of PNPP Units #1 and #2. Work scope encompassed excavation / backfill, underground commodities, rebar installation, concrete and structural steel placement, fire / radiation barrier installation and the coatings program. Work schedule development, material take off and resource requirement identification.

Managed construction of the Circulating Water Treatment Building, Sewage Treatment Building, Ash Water Pump house, forty electrical manholes and over two miles of buried electrical duct bank. Management and coordination of sub-contractors, specifically with the installation of structural steel, rebar, mechanical piping, electrical conduit, masonry, roofing and siding throughout entire building phase
