I've been working for Openreach since June 2018 and since then have moved into various different roles starting off in the Ethernet BAU part of the business providing point to point fibre to businesses. Since then I progressed to installing the network for Fibre Cities such as Chelmsford, Wickford and London, this in turn led to my advancement onto the Chief Engineer pathway in Openreach.Since joining the Chief Engineer team I have been involved in surveying areas for fibre installation including inside multi dwellings, led a team of 'Build to the wall' engineers providing the first half of the order journey cutting costs and time. Most recently I have been involved in data management, change and commissioning which is where I currently stand.
