I hold a Doctorate in Leadership in Teaching and Learning from Missouri Baptist University. I have been recognized for my transformative leadership, earning accolades such as the Educator of the Year Award and the CIO Views Magazine ranking as the #1 most successful D.E.I.A leader in 2023.In my current role, I provide direction and support to all instructional and administrative staff in district- and school-wide efforts to ensure high-quality educational opportunities for all students and to achieve equity in operational and instructional support. I develop and implement a learning plan that builds the mindsets and capacity of staff to increase equitable outcomes for students, and collaborate with district administrators to ensure equitable access to high-quality programs and partnerships. I also leverage my expertise in culturally sustaining and relevant curriculum and instruction, as well as in autism spectrum disorders and cross-categorical K-12 special education.
