The scope of the role is to provide engineering surveillance to the tender, onshore, and offshore execution phases of the projects. Engagement with the Lead / Senior / Project Engineers to ensure the engineering deliverables are being delivered in accordance with contract, Company process and standards, and a consistent approach is being applied across our varying projects.Supporting ‘INS Assurance’ with development of the INS Business Management System. Specifically, re-write/update current, and development of new, INS project engineering delivery processes, procedures and forms.Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:• Conduct peer / gate / operations reviews with the Project Team to review engineering solutions, assess progress versus engineering deliverables, and review general readiness with respect to the offshore execution.• Feedback on engineering reviews, offering advice on solutions, signposting to relevant SME, and feeding back to PMs on perceived state of engineering readiness.• To develop and continually improve INS project engineering processes and procedures.• Provide input to Project Assurance Matrix as appropriate, agreeing schedule and focus areas for review during project life cycle.• Develop detailed checklists/instructions of engineer’s responsibilities at key stages of INS projects.

Contracted as Lead Project Engineer on the REDS St. Eustatius SPM and Pipeline Expansion Project, . The Cortez Subsea aspects of the project included installation and testing of 2no. 36” CS, 1800m long pipelines from shore to PLEM and 1no. 36” CS, 200m long umbilical carrier pipeline from shore to trench end. Additionally, we were responsible for removal / installation of the existing / replacement PLEM’s respectively. Onshore engineering ran through to August 2017, with offshore execution in September 2017.Responsible for technical delivery of the abovementioned scopes, from contract award to readiness for offshore execution.

Project - Maersk Flyndre Cawdor Field DevelopmentProject Overview:The Flyndre & Cawdor Fields are being developed by Maersk Oil UK Ltd and are located in the central sector of the UK North Sea. The field will initially consist of two drill centres with single production wells at Flyndre and Cawdor that will be tied back to the existing Clyde platform. Production fluids will be transported to Clyde via a 25km, 12”/8” PiP production pipeline. Each drill centre will have a manifold structure that will also support future wells, and in addition to this, an SSIV will be installed within the Clyde 500m zone.Technip were awarded a contract by Maersk Oil UK Ltd for development of the Flyndre Cawdor fields including; fabrication and installation of the 12”/8” PiP Production pipeline, installation of the three manifolds / structures, installation of EHC umbilicals between Clyde platform and manifolds, fabrication and installation of tie-in spools and jumpers, procurement and installation of pipeline / umbilical protection mattresses, pre-commissioning and commissioning support.Personal responsibilities - Onshore:- Lead Project Engineer role responsible for the installation engineering for all diving related activities relating to the contract (spool installation, umbilical pull-ins, controls hook-up, pipeline testing / dewatering and concrete mattress protection installation);- Senior Project Engineer role responsible for overseeing the installation engineering of 3 no. Project: Nexen Golden Eagle Area DevelopmentThe Golden Eagle Field was developed by Nexen and is situated in the central sector of the UK North Sea. Phase I of the development involved installation of a purpose built Production, Utilities and Quarters (PUQ) platform bridge linked to a Wellhead (W) platform. The Southern Drill Centre (SDC), 4.5km south of the platforms, has two producing wells and two water injection wells. Multi-phase production fluids from SDC are transported to the PUQ platform, processed and exported to the SAGE gas export pipeline via the Ettrick PLEM, and oil is exported to the Flotta 30” oil export pipeline via the Claymore platform.Nexen awarded Technip an EPIC contract covering detailed design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning.Personal responsibilities - Onshore:- Lead Project Engineer role responsible for the installation engineering for the installation of 5 no. Project: Maersk Oil UK Ltd - Gryphon Area Recovery Project (GARP)Following a major incident whereby the Gryphon FPSO, located in the UKCS North Sea sector, lost station in extreme weather conditions, and as a result much of the riser system and subsea infrastructure was damaged. Project: Wintershall Wingate Development ProjectAcergy were awarded a contract by Wintershall Nordsee BV to develop the Wingate field in the Southern Sector of the UK North Sea. Project: Bluewater Industries – ATP Cheviot Field Development (Tender)Technip have been requested to submit a tender proposal by Bluewater Industries on behalf of their client ATP for the Cheviot Field Development project. The field consists of fifteen oil / gas production wells and one water injection well which tie-back to an FPSO style installation (Octabuoy). Project: Premier Oil – Balmoral PAL 1 Riser ReplacementThe Balmoral field is operated by Premier Oil and is located in the central field of the North Sea.
