CurrentFitter/ Fabricator / Site Manager• Provide comprehensive solutions for a broad range of conveyor applications, including the brewing, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, beverage, maintenance and automation industries• Fitter/Fabricator - Manufacture components large and small externally and in-house using cutting, welding and general engineering equipment. • Conveyor and machine installation and maintenance on a large and small scale• Building relationships with specialised… Show more Fitter/ Fabricator / Site Manager• Provide comprehensive solutions for a broad range of conveyor applications, including the brewing, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, beverage, maintenance and automation industries• Fitter/Fabricator - Manufacture components large and small externally and in-house using cutting, welding and general engineering equipment. • Conveyor and machine installation and maintenance on a large and small scale• Building relationships with specialised contractors and incorporating assigned work into production schedule.• Preparation of Method Statements and Risk Assessments for companies. • Liaising with operators, shift managers, stores and engineering to assist in process operations minimising down time.• Allocating Staff and contractor resources on a weekly and daily basis to ensure work is completed safely in a timely manner• Recommend & implement improvement ideas to enhance the maintenance function & business processes.• Project Management • Training and development• Supervision and co-ordination of multi-trade workforce.• Responsible for coordinating health and safety on the site• Supervision of site personnel, maintain daily records, site records, toolbox talks and GA3’s• Ensure all quality management systems are adhered to.• Excellent technical and fault-finding skills • Experience working at a high volume• Clear understanding of expertise of mechanical maintenance • Knowledge and experience of packaging operations. • Work with engineering and production teams in troubleshooting equipment and site problems. • Compliance of all local site environmental Health & Safety requirements, training and regulations Show less
