-Brainstorm ways to develop new products within the the Value added Products Group, to be added to our portfolio of products. -Research duty and calculate misc. costs for potential new products.-Find new customers by attending trade shows & conferences, searching the web, social media, networking, searching customs data among other methods.-Research current consumer trends and demands.-Study global market conditions for all lemon by-products.-Use foreign market information to analyze market conditions.-Negotiate short term and long term contracts with customers, based on current market indications, volume requirements, strategic relationship with customer and several other factors. Calculate the price of each contract based on what type of delivery terms are requested (DDP, Ex-Dock, CIF, Etc…).-Maintain relationships with current customers by calling, emailing and visiting from time to time.-Provide the factory with a list of all volumes and a schedule as to the order of production and follow closely to ensure that our promises to the customers are being met based on the schedule I provide to Argentina.-Follow the current crop status, as to further gauge demand, which can affect the price.-Keep track of harvesting and production as to provide the customer with updated info.-Oversee the logistics team, which includes, but is not limited to reviewing PO’s sent to Argentina, invoices sent to customer, ensuring that the shipping logs are up-to-date, ensure that shipments are departing based on the customer’s request date, trouble shooting with the team, weekly reviews of all orders as a team and any other task that comes up.-Keep track of and calculate gross profit on an individual contract basis for all industrial products and adjust on a monthly basis as needed.

-Directly manage movement of goods for all foreign market and special domestic customers.-Coordinate with factory in Argentina to ensure production schedule is in line with customer requirements.-Negotiate shipping rates with carriers for LTL, Hazmat, Reefer & Dry Containers to reduce costs where possible.-Oversee the associate Logistics Specialist, whom handles the domestic movement of goods.-Provide cash flow analysis to the CFO for multiple related companies.-Quote customers and actively sell small quantities of material that is kept in the USA for domestics LTL sales.-Calculate and provide pricing to sales reps and to contract customers based on current market conditions.-Fully knowledgeable with Customs, FDA, USDA, EPA and other governmental organizations policies and practices.

- Contact with overseas vendors to issue new PO’s and monitor production progress.- Monitor, track and confirm inventory counts.- Update customers on status of shipment.- Request ISF paperwork and file with US CBP.- Monitor on water shipments and consistently maintain accurate ETA dates.- Coordinate with steamship and airlines.- Verify and approve trucking, warehousing and customs clearance invoices.- Coordinate inbound and outbound traffic to several different warehouses nationwide.- Submit shipping documents to customs broker in advance to ensure timely release of shipments.- Investigate new HTS numbers to be used in place of existing ones and for new products.- File PEA, drawbacks and protests with customs.- Ensure compliance with Government agencies such as, TSCA, FIFRA, FDA and USDA.- Research patents on products that already exist in the market.- Research current market and trade trends.- Track the development of political situations/legislature that can impact the market and industry.
