- Receive and dispatch goods- Coordinate supplies and materials for 5 contractors- Build relationships with customers, building site managers and transportation companies - Ensure that the correct stock and amount is scheduled to be picked up or delivered on time for building companies, contractors and customers. - Maintain a clean, safe and healthy work environment.- Label and put away stock in designated locations using forklift.- Correspond with administration and sales team.- Check over all orders and customer plans- Cut and shape carpet

Through a combination of desire to serve our community and also being restricted in work for the time - My wife and I started a small retail store that was focused purely on celebrating and supporting local businesses. We stocked a wide range of hand-made products, artworks, preserves and artisan goods.It saw me learn a wide range of skills from customer service, innovative marketing implementation, bookwork, supplier attraction and relationship building.

• Order stock for customers and warehouse through various suppliers• Receive incoming goods and fill out appropriate paper work• Delivery of orders in around Albury/Wodonga and regional area• Scheduling of outgoing freight• Opening and closing of store, construct in store displays• Liaise with major building companies and suppliers to ensure no disruption to building progress and prompt delivery of products• Liaise with sister stores to organise delivery of goods to save transport cost• Answering customer queries by phone and in store• General office duties including banking and using MYOB, answering phone, sales and filing

• Coordinating of staff for the loading and unloading of trucks to meet key despatch times• Communicating with transport department to ensure trailers available to load and removed from dock• Conduct safety audits to ensure the safety of people on site• Load and unload trucks with forklift or loading machine• Organise loads through use of computer system and complete appropriate paperwork to track loads
