Principal strategist for public health mapping in the pilot counties to enhance public health infrastructure, strengthening health systems and enhancing community well-being.• Hub and Spoke Model: Implementation of a hub and spoke model to connect selected pharmacies with public health facilities under ARC Community Pharmacy Model, streamlining service delivery to ensure that communities have access to essential healthcare services.• Comprehensive mapping of public health facilities: Created visualizations of all public health facilities in the pilot counties, paving the way for improved access and resource allocation.• Capacity Building: Conducted training sessions on geomapping techniques to the team at ARC Kenya, thus equipping them with the necessary tools.

An integral member of the science and planning team to advance AWF mission, includes the process of spatially characterizing targets, identifying threats, developing threat mitigation strategies, interventions and measuring impact. Each of these elements has a spatial and temporal context benefiting from the application of Geographical Information System and Remote Sensing. Broadly speaking my responsibilities involved;• Coordinating development and implementation of spatial technologies across programs, related technical partnerships across AWF Landscapes in Africa. • Spatial data acquisition, analysis, integration for planning, management, monitoring and evaluation.• Raising the Geospatial analyses, building capacity of staff and partners to harness spatial tools via trainings and technical support, includes ArcGIS online, GIS Software, Global Positioning System (GPS), ArcGIS Survey 123, SMART Mobile/CyberTracker to bolster spatial analyses, data capture, enforcement efforts, monitoring and evaluation. • Assisting landscapes managers design and execute field-mapping programs such as resource mapping and social economic surveys.• Working with landscapes ecologists and technical advisors on conservation monitoring, and management plans.• Providing spatial analyses, cartography and technical support to different thematic areas, principally Community development, Conservation Science, Land use, Climate Change, marketing materials and proposals.

Roles and Responsibility:• Providing Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing to projects led by Landscape managers and field staff in coordination with the AWF technical thematic team.• Leading site-level resource mapping programs.• Implementing tools designed to streamline and improve performance of data collection protocols.• Providing technical support to AWF’s ecological monitoring, compiling, maintaining and analyzing spatial data from various sources.• Supporting spatial capacity development of staff and partners• Supporting management of AWF’s centralized database and web mapping service• Providing AWF’s communications with cartographic and analytical data.• Performing duties involving application of GIS and Remote sensing in support of Spatial Analysis Laboratory.

Roles and Responsibility:• Lead resource mapping including vegetations types, water bodies, roads, buildings, fences and pipelines. Task involved gathering primary data using GPS, image interpretation and analyses using various GIS and Statistical Software.• Trained staff members on the use of GPS in data capture and introduction to GIS software, data entry and presentation.• Designed and established a GIS database management system. • Generated various thematic maps for use in the organization.• Contributed to any other duties involving application of GIS and Remote sensing
