As the SMART Systems Manager for Viking Pest Control, I am leading the way into the digital age of pest management solutions using state-of-the-art IoT rodent and insect monitoring technology. I have over 9 years of experience in IPM beginning in the trenches as a field technician, but quickly obtaining valuable licenses that allowed me to service large audited food processing facilities, schools, and pharmaceutical businesses. As a Service Manager, I led my team in providing outstanding customer service while working closely with the Branch Manager to learn more about the financial aspects of pest management.In my current role, I am responsible for creating best-practice training surrounding our SMART digital pest programs and developing protocols to analyze the data we receive from devices in the field. It can be challenging at times to figure out how to integrate new technology with methods people have stood by for decades, but I always take the initiative and am prepared to exceed!
