Michael has practiced in the areas of litigation, insolvency and restructuring for over 20 years. He is an experienced offshore lawyer, having lived and practiced offshore law in the Cayman Islands since 2008 and in Hong Kong since 2016.Michael’s practice areas encompass virtually all aspects of offshore litigation, spanning cross-border insolvencies and restructurings, distressed/contentious investment funds, shareholders’ rights and remedies, directors’ duties, audit and professional services claims, fraud claims, as well as commercial litigation disputes. Michael is a consultant with Appleby Global Hong Kong. He practices from Australia as a Partner at Taylor David Lawyers and holds a current unrestricted principle practicing certificate from the Queensland Law Society. Michael was the Managing Director in Asia of Delta Capital Partners, a private equity fund focused upon litigation funding and specialty finance.
