Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state regulation and Joint Commission standards surrounding accreditation. Focused on change management, program development and a continuous improvement of customer satisfaction scores. Press Ganey and HCAPS scores showed continuous improvement.

Directed the practice, quality and operations of a 13 bed Medical / Surgical / Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, a 44 bed step-down/intermediate care telemetry unit; three medical/surgical units (32, 21 and 18 beds respectively) plus an 86 channel Central Monitoring department. Responsible for up to 160 FTEs, revenues of over $32,000,000, an operational expense budget of over $10,000,000.Served as the clinical and administrative representative of critical care nursing at this teaching hospital. Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state regulation and HFAP standards surrounding accreditation. 2010 accreditation survey reported zero deficiencies in units under my direction.Focused on change management, increasing volumes, program development and a continuous improvement of customer satisfaction scores. Press Ganey and HCAPS scores showed continuous quarterly improvement.
