Working within strategic business objectives, providing support and consultancy in the implementation and delivery of people development and engagement projects. Flexing activities to an audience of IT Leaders, Managers and technicians to deliver business as usual and just in time initiatives within timescales budget and defined by the business. Support/lead the delivery of learning and development projects in line with changing business need managing the relationship between central support functions and a global technology staff and leadership teamsRepresent through consultancy all areas by owning role of Subject Matter Expert for L&D in project meetings as required by work stack to influence all technology change based projectsDevelop learning, coaching and development materials in line with varying business needs ranging through diverse topics including technical, behavioural and professional skills development to support a diverse workforce Delivery of training materials directly and via Train the Trainer on multiple technical and soft skills both in person and via remote presentation tools i.e. webex and technical simulation systemsAct as subject matter expert to Director’s, leaderships teams and People Managers in all elements of learning and development practice and procedure presenting content to suitable audiences where relevant.

The role required two main areas of delivery; management of multiple projects from inception to delivery, and being department expert and owner of a number of pan operational and Technology people initiatives. Delivering through effective supplier, stakeholder and consultancy skills to:•Establish and manage relationships with a number of internal, 3rd party and external suppliers to design, deliver and provide learning and development solutions and/or accreditations to IP, in line with Group processes and procedures utilising differing learning styles •Scope, plan, monitor and deliver a group of people development focused projects ensuring delivery to plan, cost and quality in line with defined Group Technology, Group standards and control processes.•Agree and influence to senior management level to establish and scope the budget and scope of staff capability work and maintaining an awareness of the annual training budget•Ensure that project scope, risks, requirements and needs are tightly controlled and any change managed through the correct approval process and providing relevant management Information and feedback in order to influence decision makers

Manage and lead a team of 16 trainers across 4 geographically split operation contact centres to develop and deliver an in-house learning and development functionality to independent RBS consumer brands by:•Conducting needs analysis and devising comprehensive training packages in conjunction with centre and divisional leadership while evaluating training and development programmes to suit business needs and the needs of the individual agents•Identifying training and development needs within the organisation through job analysis, appraisals and regular consultations with managers, HR and business led project teams •Delivering cost effective training programmes, keeping within budget, whilst maximising return on investment for the business•Change lead on all business led projects (business as usual and regulatory) interpreting impact of change and developing just in time training and procedural updates. i.e. Design and development of system change training materials to support 1400 customer facing staff in the integration of 5 historic systems onto 1 multi branded processing application working within time and cost levels within wider business regulatory change project•Provide support to the Regional Sales and Service Centre Managers while interacting with subject matter experts from within the business to keep abreast of individual agent needs
