My name is Michael Mallon and I am a very experienced and hard working labourer with 13 years experience in the sign industry where I built, installed and maintained custom signs for our clients all across Ottawa. I can easily point out signs I installed as I drive anywhere in the city. I feel such a sense of pride when I see my work and I am very passionate about my work. I started in the industry when I was 17 years old and I have learned a lot of great skills that I carry with me today. I am currently looking for a new challenge with room for growth. It does not need to be in the sign industry. Over the years, I have also dabbled in caulking, roofing and moving. I am ready to learn new skills while incorporating 13 years worth of my already acquired skills. I excel in fast-paced environments where I can do what I do best, work with my hands. I do not believe that a boss should have to hold an employee's hand so I am all about learning quickly and then just pouring myself into the work I produce so my boss can focus on his or her work. In my years in the sign industry, I gained experience with fall arrest, cranes, harness work, ladder work, boom truck work, painting, crafting, aluminum work, wood work, vinyl work, LED installations and electrical wiring and much more. I am a fast learner and a hard worker and I am ready to bring my wide skill set to your company.
