Lead the production team and provide guidance and production expertise to the group responsible for the delivery of production activities. My responsibilities include identifying, evaluating and adapting new technologies where appropriate to ensure the unit operates to a high standard and maintaining acompetent and qualified workforce. Cross departmental communication and coordinating resources with regular reporting of progress to key stakeholders and senior management, using performance indicators and current trending data. To ensure an uninterrupted production schedule is carried out as per business requirements while working under a stringent quality system, adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) principles.

Responsible for the daily management of staff and facilities, ensuring the designated facility and operations are GMP compliant with the manufacturing license and safety regulations in the production support unit (PSU). I took responsibility for Non-Conformances, Corrective/Preventative actions (CAPA), Risk Assessments and Change Controls for the area and ensured standard operating procedures (SOPs) were available for use. I guaranteed manufacturing records were compiled, checked and delivered to the quality department in a condition suitable for quality review.

Ensuring day to day activities were undertaken in the unit as well as planning and executing production schedules. I managed the output of a team in a high-pressure manufacturing environment whilst working within a GMP quality system.

Part of a team responsible for the upstream and downstream manufacturing of pharmaceutical products, preparation of components and the operation of production equipment.

Extensively trained in titrimetric and spectroscopic water quality techniques. I also maintained a recordkeeping system and prepared laboratory reports.
