My duties included highly detailed percussion borehole logging for the ground investigation works for the Gautrain alignment underlain by dolomite, as well as spreadsheet based summary borehole profiling and subsequent data capturing of these profiles, required for compilation of geological sections. I was involved in the works for compaction grouting at some viaduct pier positions with each site provided with drilling rig and two grouting stations.
