As Senior Manager for Legal, I am primarily tasked with:a) Seconded to the Legal Department of Alfamart Trading Philippines, Inc. (ATPI), a joint venture between the SM Group and Alfamart - Indonesia, as well as its operating arm, Alfametro Marketing, Inc. (AMI);b) Works in close coordination with the Corporation's site sourcing unit (Business Development, Construction, Leasing), as well as other departments in relation to the procurement, operation and maintenance of store sites, warehouses, distribution centers and other lease-holdings and property acquisitions of the Corporation;c) Serves as one of the primary points of contact between ATPI/AMI and Alfamart - Indonesia, as well as SM Investments Corporation (SMIC) and its other affiliates;d) Prepares, drafts and reviews all types of legal documentation, memorandum, correspondence, as well as other instruments for use by the Corporation for its external partners;e) Prepares and reviews contracts, deeds, as well as all other pre-construction requirements to ensure the smooth transition and mobilization of the Corporation's Construction Department;f) Deals with the appropriate local and national government offices to ensure the Corporation's compliance with regulatory/reportorial requirements, as well as national laws and local ordinances;e) Provides all other types of support services and legal advise as the Corporation may require

As Legal Counsel II, I am primarily tasked with:A) Handling labor, criminal, intellectual property and civil litigation, as well asoverseeing proper compliance of stores with local ordinances;B) Providing legal advice to the various departments of the Company;C) The registration, protection, and maintenance of the Company’s brands (Penshoppe, Oxygen, Regatta, ForMe, Tyler, and MEMO), as well as its fully-owned subsidiary, Red Logo;D) Actively participates in the administration of procedural due process both for store-based and head-office based employees for violations of the company’s Code of Conduct;E) Represents the Company in judicial and quasi-judicial proceedings, as well as during contract negotiations;F) Drafts and reviews contracts, demand letters, pleadings and other legal documents for use here and abroad;
