CurrentAs a security guard at BRT Extrusions, your role is critical to ensuring the safety and security of our employees, facilities, and assets. These standard operating guidelines outline your responsibilities and procedures to follow while on duty.*Responsibilities*- Monitor and control access to the facility through the gate log system- Conduct regular patrols of the plant and surrounding areas- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and requests for assistance- Monitor CCTV cameras and report any suspicious activity- Enforce company rules and regulations- Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors as needed*Procedures*- Log all visitors, trucks, and deliveries in the gate log system- Conduct regular checks of the facility, including all 18 areas- Use the camera system to monitor the plant and surrounding areas- Document all incidents, accidents, and security breaches- Follow established protocols for emergency response and first aid- Maintain a clean and organized guard shack and equipment*Additional Guidelines*- Wear required uniform and identification at all times- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information- Stay alert and focused during your shift, avoiding distractions and fatigue- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and emergency response*Reporting*- Report all incidents, accidents, and security breaches to your supervisor or manager immediately- Submit a written report of any incidents or incidents at the end of your shift.
