Served as elected representative of employees at the university. Represented employees in negotiations with university administration over working conditions, workplace rules/regulations, and university governance. Sat on several subcommittees, including Personnel, Communication, House and Health. Met regularly with employee groups, university administrators, and human resource specialists. Solicited information from and communicated important information to university employees via newsletters, public forums, emails, and direct one-on-one communications.

Lecturer in Geography, specializing in Labor and Economic Geography, Critical Tourism Studies. Taught dozens of bachelor and master courses in critical tourism studies, economic geography.
