Beginning my career in business in finance, I managed the precious metals operations at Bank of Delaware (now PNC Bank), before leaving the field for a long-term career in the educational non-profit sector. Serving as Director of Development and Public Relations for 12 years from 1984 to 1996, I applied business and marketing concepts to non-profit fund raising, which was a somewhat new concept at the time. Having taught business classes at the high school level, as well, I pursued as doctorate in educational leadership while serving as an associate head and then, head of school. For six years, I served as an adjunct professor at the University of Delaware, teaching business concepts to students interested in music management. Presently, I am in my second headship and enjoying collaborating with a team of committed and talented staff to advance the educational work being accomplished for our students. Music is an avocation of mine. Currently, I serve as Director of Liturgy and Music, and principal organist at Saint Joseph on the Brandywine Catholic Church in Greenville, DE.
