Operating an 8 color F&K, Wide Web press with the ability to add treat to film in-line. Press also able to print up to 65" and large repeat capabilities. Perform routine and preventive maintenance, Understand a vast field of all current customer requirements, from tension and heat settings, run speed requirements, Film Specs, In components and tolerances, toning and bases, on an X-RITE system, and NovaFlow dispenser. Mostly solvent based inks, but familiar with water based also. ( Primer glue or Varnish application.) Understand treating of film, and dyne levels. Printing on a variety of substrates, PE, PP, Shrink Films, and Metalized. Ability to select Anilox rolls best suited for each customers own specifications and tolerances and Print Station. Versed in linescreen and cell volume, for printing of line, screen and solids, floodcoating a Wide Web or for process printing. Perform Fingerprint Test and other Press Trials. Being in the flexographic, printing industry for close to my 10th year now I still learn new troubleshooting techniques on a regular basis from Dr blade settings to Ink viscosity, OH and BC heat settings. I work well with others and quickly adapt. Highly motivated and really enjoy the challenge, especially process printing and tight registration.
