Engineering Global Leadership is a subset of the Engineering Honors College. Its purpose is to create leaders with well-rounded experience in global affairs/operations and business. Each EGL member is required to declare the International Minor for Engineers, take 15 credits of business courses, and pursue a fifth year master’s degree in engineering.

- Spearheaded the RFQ process for $X million in purchase orders by liaising between engineers and suppliers, driving critical project deadlines, analyzing supplier quotes, and negotiating payment terms- Strengthened and diversified supplier partnerships by onboarding 10+ new suppliers, executing 30+ NDAs, negotiating 2 GTCs, and providing strategic feedback to improve future bids and proposals- Leveraged SQL expertise to analyze data from 500+ purchase orders, uncovering trends of overpriced SKUs and influencing optimized procurement incentives to ensure fair supplier pricing

- Communicated daily with distribution centers to assess their ability to flip the top-priority SKUs by providing and analyzing comprehensive reports based on inventory data from SAP- Ensured coordination and alignment among all distribution centers to achieve simultaneous flipping of SKUs, leveraging effective data analysis and communication skills- Revamped the SKU flipping process through a meticulous analysis, identifying critical areas for improvement, and crafting a thorough action plan to enhance efficiency and optimize inventory management

- Pioneered research for the development of new technologies and processes designed to benefit the needs of stakeholders in the Ann Arbor medical community- Deliberated closely with licensed medical professionals to formulate accurate needs assessments of the Ann Arbor community, while carefully analyzing, reflecting, and improving potential engineering solutions throughout the project development process- Established the intellectual and structural foundation for a new University project team

- Produced quantitative portfolio risk reports (market/credit/liquidity) using a wide variety of proprietary technologies and data sources for Buy-Side institutional investment clients- Analyzed quantitative results and found potential for process improvements and automation- Performed data entry and first level data validation and ad-hoc reporting as required- Tested new risk technology offerings for quantitative and qualitative assurance- Frequently communicated with clients and internal stakeholders- Performed data analysis and modification/cleaning as necessary
