While working in this position, I was responsible for stock handling and stock rotation, ambient and short life date checks and assembling store deliveries. Stockroom layout and sales floor duties, while adhering to health and safety standards. I was required to keep the store and shop presentable at all times. Also, I showed flexibility and adaptability while standing in for colleagues during busy seasonal periods.

This position involved operating the till and ensuring that all cash and card transactions were completed accurately. Keeping up to date with all special offers in the grocery department. Greeting customers and dealing with any queries from them. Working as a team during an extremely busy period. Stocking shelves during quieter periods during the day and ensuring that all products were displayed to maximise sales opportunities.
