About Michael Marx

As an experienced senior service delivery manager with many years of expertise in the financial services industry, I am particularly familiar with the topics of service management, ITIL incl. incident- & problemmanagement, SLA, service provider control and contract design in outsourcing. Equipped with commercial basics, I found my way into IT by conducting end user training courses for special applications. After several positions in 2nd level and onsite support I became a team leader there. After further positions in the Proposal Competence Centre, where I was responsible for the preparation of proposals within the scope of outsourcing projects, I ended up at the interface between service delivery management and operations. After working for several years as a Service Manager without customer contact, I then joined Service Delivery Management at the direct customer/service provider interface.During this time, I managed various projects and sub-projects that dealt with topics such as the introduction of new products, support models, tools and even entire nearshoring or offshoring activities.
