Receivers were used on the Very Long Baseline Array, 140-ft telescope, and Green Bank Telescope (GBT).Provided set-up, operational support for astronomers, and repair of the 140 ft Cassigrain system which consisted of a 14 ft hydraulic nutating sub-reflector and receiver system. Assisted with pointing of telescope and other functions to insure the success of the scientific ventures while the system was in use.Provided set-up, operational support and maintenance on a rubidium maser system that was cryogenically cooled. The rubidium maser was a crystalline structure subject to a strong magnetic field which amplified radio signals.
