As a Program Coordinator with Kingston Economic Development, I was responsible for facilitating the Canada Digital Adoption Program, which is a government-run program that provides grants for small businesses to improve their e-commerce and assist with digital adoption. I managed, trained, and hired a group of six E-Commerce Advisors. Furthermore, I reviewed and approved claim submissions, created funding agreements, processed expense reports, updated all Salesforce accounts, event planning, created marketing campaigns, and other administrative tasks.

As an e-commerce advisor, I was responsible for assisting local small businesses grow their online platform through digital adoption. I would recommend services that would assist their business with search engine optimization, online/social media marketing, website design, cyber security, website plug-ins, back office solutions, etc. Additionally, I would correspond with business owners and assist them through the Canada Digital Adoption Program application process, review their submission claims, and update all accounts on Salesforce.

During my internship, I was exposed to many facets of the sports industry, including event planning, brand marketing, business development, representing talent, ticket sales, and managing social media accounts. I was responsible for conducting research for potential business opportunities, facilitating endorsement deals for professional athletes, developing and presenting marketing strategies, creating content, developing ticket strategies for a traveling exhibit, and managing Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook accounts for professional athletes in the NBA and NHL, in addition to completing administrative tasks.

I would restore the item if necessary, then re-sell these items on websites such as Kijiji, Facebook Marketplace and eBay for a profit.
