Oversight of a multimillion-dollar expense budget while working on multiple capital projects, events and expansions as SeaWorld continues to apply groundbreaking science to the care of the animals and grow the brand. Work in collaboration with the Zoological team to ensure that science is foremost and all aquatic life is supported as technology advances. Lead a team of 250 during the peak season with oversight of both SeaWorld San Diego and Aquatica San Diego. Responsible for Shamu Light Up the Night, One Ocean, Killer Whale Up Close, Pets Rule!, Blue Horizons, Dolphin Days, Sea Lions Live, Madagascar Live! Operation: Vacation as well as multiple events. Responsible to support the mission of SeaWorld to inspire patrons, through entertainment, to connect with and care for the natural world we share. Education being a cornerstone to all entertainment at SeaWorld, supporting Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute is integral to this position. A true partnership between entertainment and science.

• Worked in conjunction with Stage Management on training, maintenance, and project schedules • Responsible for all technical budgeting. • Created and maintained all documents pertaining to the technical policies and procedures where needed• Responsible for maintaining the technical integrity of the show and safety standards• Responsible for overseeing the budget and interfacing with all vendors including obtaining bids• In conjunction with the CM and the VP of Entertainment responsible HR issues which included hiring and firing• Responsible for technically supervising all outside events in theater• Responsible for interfacing with hotel personnel including engineering, PAD and HR to maintain the facility and its working environment• Worked with the Artistic staff to incorporate show changes and upgrades• Researched needs, cost and planning for all Capital Requests.• Responsible for developing the business case for all Capital Requests.• Assisted with disciplinary actions when needed• Responsible for all special events in the Mystere Theatre.• Responsible for leading the Department Head Meetings• Integral part of developing policies and procedures across all the Cirque du Soleil Resident Shows.• Responsible for long term technical projections including cost savings and expenses.• Responsible for leading the technical staff through changes while maintaining a team atmosphere.• Working with the Purchasing dept to develop global pricing agreements.• Working with Technical Show support to develop training and ascension programs.• Worked with the PR and Marketing depts. to coordinate Events and Marketing presentations.• Worked with HR for requirement and University outreach.
