Projects focused on improving performance and reducing cost at levels of technology readiness ranging from conceptual research to large scale pilot operations. Range of project scope included: process conceptualization; materials development, characterization and testing; equipment design, testing & optimization; system design, testing & optimization; large scale, integrated system pilots.

Produced and managed techno-economic systems and benefits analyses that served to guide and justify expenditures for Federally funded research and development of carbon capture and advanced power generation technologies.

Evaluated performance of current/future fossil energy technologies and their integration/behavior in complete fossil power/fuel/product systems for the Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL).

Developed Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling framework to guide development of an ultraviolet disinfection reactor product line for drinking water applications.

Designed reactors for specific job applications in support of worldwide UV disinfection and UV/Oxidation equipment sales.
