*Small Batch Supervisor: Powder Coating Division* -Built a new "small batch" production department from ground up.-Managed small batch production operations and personnel.-Produced new work instructions and standard operating proceedures for Powder Small Batch Operations that ensured best practice for quality, safety, and effeciency.-Worked intimately with mainenence and engineering to proactively modify/improve existing equipment to meet industry safety requirements, increase through-put, streamline cleaning steps, and increase product quality.*Production Planner: Powder Coating Division*-Conducted production scheduling and planning efforts for entire facility (small, medium, and large batch operations).-Established cyclical product sequence "wheels" that optimized machine change over efficiencies and capitalized on overall OTMIS quality improvements and increases products turns/lower working inventory quantities.-Accurately managed raw material inflows and appropriate levels of finished goods inventory, while balancing lean practices and customer requirements.-Generated, reivewed, and maintained all of work order paperwork for production operations, and assisted in the creation of new WIP documentation that reduced setup and processing errors.-Continually drove and documented numerous continual improvement efforts regarding product specific run conditions and machine parameters.-Ordered/oversaw machine consumables and critical components with numerous equipment manufacturers, facility wide.

Powder Coating Division -Performed controlled testing of all in-process and finished powder coatings to ensure quality conformance, per ISO 9001 standards. -Implemented and maintained effective methods for measuring "subjective" quality traits, i.e. surface evaluation.-Consistantly tested and approved special incoming raw materials, and released to production.-Developed new powder coating technologies and modified/built off of existing systems.-Worked between R&D and Production to "scale-up" and continually improve OTMIS of existing formulations. -Troubleshot and remedied overall process involved quality issues.-Developed and maintained an intimate working relationship with sales dept. and end use customer base in an ongoing effort towards the production of quality powder coatings, via effective/comprehensive inter-deparment communication.-Investigated and followed-up with any possible product conformance concerns in the field.

-Designed and sucessfully implemented a new waste minimization system, resulting in significant annual savings and reduction of environmental impact. -Developed and generated new work instructions and standard operating proceedures for laboratory and manufacturing, i.e. testing methodology and CIP proceedures.-Worked closely with engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing departments to aquire, design, and build new equipment required for projects.-Established/conducted environmental lab analysis of product stream and wash/rinse water effluent.-Validated testing protocol that ensured regulatory compliance of effluent per local municipality.

Animal Nutrition Division-Performed laboratory analysis of incoming, in-process, and finished products. (Analytical, microbiological, visual, and organoleptic)-Standards of record keeping and testing protocols were all compliant with WI Dept. of Agricultural trade.-Required strong communcation between production supervision.-Exhibited speedy identifcation and trouble-shooting of quality non-conformance in manufacturing process.-Routine maintenance and daily calibration was performed for all lab equipment.
