Mike Mayfield joined Onset Financial Inc. in 2023 as Senior Vice President of Remarketing and Strategic Development. In this role, he is responsible for managing the end of term lease settlements and negotiations with Onset's lessees.Before joining Onset, Mike spent nearly 25 years building a thriving law practice at one of Salt Lake City’s largest and oldest law firms. During that time, he earned a reputation as an outstanding advocate for leasing and other finance companies. In 2023, Mike was selected for inclusion on the list of The Best Lawyers in America© 2023 in Banking and Finance Law, and by Mountain States Super Lawyers in Banking Law. His peers have repeatedly voted him as one of Utah’s “Legal Elite,” as published by Utah Business Magazine. In 2021, the Banking and Finance Section of the Utah State Bar presented Mike with its “Distinguished Service Award.” Mike is active in community service and enjoys spending time with his wife and children. His “happy place” is a packed college football stadium on a crisp autumn afternoon. He has attended the Rose, Fiesta, Sugar, Holiday and many other bowl games.
