Have completed several projects involving HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection system design including several renovation projects for the University of Georgia at Athens and Georgia College State University, and a new 128,650 SQ.FT. Nursing Facility in Milledgeville, Georgia which currently is the largest installation of VRF Air Conditioning systems in Georgia.

HVAC-Performed calculations, equipment sizing and selection, ductwork sizing and layout, air distribution layout and created contract documents including specifications and drawings. Have designed a wide variety of systems including single and multiple zone systems, multiple zone split ductless systems, water source heat pump systems, chilled water, hot water, steam, glycol central station systems, dedicated outside air systems, infra-red heating, kitchen exhaust/make-up, laboratory ventilation, fume exhaust and dust collection, and heat recovery systems. Plumbing-Designed numerous plumbing piping systems including potable and non-potable water distribution, sanitary waste and vent, roof drainage including standard gravity and siphonic, medical gas and vacuum systems, compressed air, natural gas, propane, and fuel oil piping systems, and domestic hot water and pressure boosting systems. Fire Protection-Designed performance based fire sprinkler systems for schools, office buildings, and hospitals including NFPA 13 wet pipe, dry pipe, dry standpipe, deluge, and pre-action type systems. Prepared specifications and contract documents.Project Management-Provided design, project planning, and implementation of multiple small and large design projects from business development and schematic concept through construction and closeout. Prepared man-hour and fee estimates, made business development presentations and prepared proposal documents, assigned tasks to project team, reviewed submittal and shop drawing documents, made site visits during and upon substantial completion of construction.Mechanical System Assessment-Performed site visits to multi-family HUD homes, public schools and FAA air traffic control towers. Evaluated existing mechanical and plumbing systems, and developed condition report.

Provided contract plumbing and piping design services for the design and construction of a large industrial facility leased to the US Department of Energy to be built in Kansas City, Missouri. Designed chilled water, heating water (200°F), compressed air, gaseous nitrogen, liquid nitrogen, CO2 and Argon gas, natural fuel gas, potable and non-potable water, sanitary waste and vent, clean steam and condensate and gravity/pressurized process waste piping systems. Also designed clean steam boiler humidification systems using RO feed water to serve industrial clean spaces and laboratories.
