Implemented a new fully automated warehouse to support 10 million books for storage and shipping which opened in April 2006 in Milan, TN. Prior to new warehouse, the company paid a 3rd party warehousing facility to ship their orders and store inventory. The break-even point for cash flow was after 20 months and profitability to the P&L was after 8 months.Implemented company wide change in systems in 2004 and 2005 for the New York office. Fully implemented system in April 2005. Increased gross margin percentage by 8% in the last 2 years with programs that increased average price and reduced cost.Decreased excess and obsolescence inventory by 20% with a scaling price point program based on the book’s inventory turnover.
