• As Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer reporting directly to the President of the College supporting across multiple campuses, 6,600 students in its credit courses and over 3,400 students in its noncredit workforce development and community education. Providing leadership for finance, human resources, information technology, procurement, facilities and maintenance, construction and real estate, safety and security, police academies, auxiliary services and athletics. • Provide strategic and tactical support as well as business insight to chart the vision for the college’s future and making it a reality – e.g., almost tripled the college’s cash position/reserves, increased non-academic revenue, increased student athletes by almost 200% and reduce campus footprint to lower future costs• Responsible for all COVID planning and served on-campus managing resources, planning and over $4 million in campus projects• Oversee three former direct reports/areas to the President in an effort to evaluate, restructure and increase efficiency through technological tools, project management; and, advising to improve business processes. This has resulted in the restructure of the Information Technology and Human Resource departments saving roughly $500,000• Implemented a new hiring process and increased diversity of applicants through strategic partnerships with industry leaders resulting in 45% of full-time hires being diverse• Develop and implement strategic partnerships with private and non-profit organization that are mutually beneficial to both organization – e.g., campus initiatives to reduce unused space utilization, potential public private partnership for land usage and partnering with local transit authority to reduce transportation costs in half• Oversaw multiple major renovations including total closure of two building• Restructured and automated various aspects of A&F Area resulting in over $3 million in savings and 30% in staff reduction

Served as second-in-command for a nationally accredited organization with ten locations, 650+ full-time employees, 200+ plus private contracted vendors and an operating budget of over $75 million. Responsible for executive oversight for all operations, policies and programs of the organization and for ensuring initiatives operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of the department. • Established performance measures for the organization ensuring business operations are efficient and effective and develop new programs as needs emerge –e.g., the recent creation of our 42 bed detox facility changing our business model and working across multiple organizations to build consensus and support• Directly lead five executives across administrative, security, community supervision, civil process and regional communication operations - focusing on enhanced communication and services across multiple facets of the organization leading to organizational support of individual department programs• Directed, coordinated and built relationships with external constituency groups, including community, governmental and private organizations – e.g., federal and state legislative delegation, community partners such as chiefs of police, non-profits and the communities we have contracted with to provide regional services• Coordinated construction projects/initiatives; such as Department-wide accelerated energy program which is a $15 million investment to enhance energy efficiencies across our two main facilities• Overhauled and enhanced Department services at our regional operations and improved business operations through technology upgrades including new operating systems and successfully led the organization through a number of internal systemic changes by enhancing the methods of communication through organizational meetings, clearly-defined goals and team building.
