Michael McCarthy is an American born, award winning hospitality leader. He is one of 24 fellows of the Club Management Association of America. Since 2006, Michael McCarthy has held the position of CEO at Addison Reserve Country Club, located in Delray Beach. Under his leadership, Addison Reserve Country Club has achieved impressive rankings, including being ranked as the #5 club by Platinum Clubs of America and #23 by Platinum Clubs of the World. The club has also earned the prestigious distinction of being a Distinguished Elite Club by Board Room Magazine and Forbes Travel.Before assuming his role at Addison Reserve, Michael McCarthy enjoyed a successful tenure as CEO of BallenIsles, where he served for eight years. With over 30 years of experience in club management and community management, he has become a specialist in working with Club Boards on Club Governance. His innovative approach to club management has been lauded by industry professionals as the future direction for club management in the coming decade.• Currently serves as a Board Member for the National Club Association and holds a role as Vice Chairman.• In 2006, Michael received the Excellence in Club Management Award presented by Club and Resort Magazine and the McMahon Group.
