- Negotiated and set up yearly contracts with Vendors to achieve the highest quality of dry goods at pricing that is below or equal to the total per case pricing parameters.- Managed multiple projects which included confirming orders, art approval sign offs, and confirming completion dates for wine bottles, capsules, corks, wine labels, labels sleeves, screen printed bottles, etched bottles, bottle cartons and aluminum cans.- Logistics - scheduled delivery dates and times for all dry good shipments for 16 wineries up and down the west coast. Set up carrier database with case goods coordinator to show transportation costs for each winery. Coordinated with case goods coordinator to backload dry good delivery trucks with cases goods. Reduced the number partial truckloads by combining dry good shipments and coordinating with carrier and vendors. Created shipment delivery guidelines to insure shipments were delivered to company’s standards. Work on damaged claims with carrier and vendors when shipment was damaged. - Inventory - conducted multiple cycle counts of all case goods and dry goods. Set up (first in, first out) procedures for case goods and dry goods. Investigated and corrected audit discrepancies. Maintained dry good database to insure balances were current. Maintained monthly inventory forecasting requirements with glass, capsule, and cork vendors in order to reduce turnaround times and meet production dates.- Conducted market surveys and created bottling issue report and presented to upper management for the purpose of reducing packaging costs and to increase bottling efficiency. - Participated in bi-monthly meetings with upper management to discuss product sales performance, new proposed products, timeline for new product releases and any industry changes that might effect total cost of goods. - Worked with Marketing, Graphic Artists, and Vendors to develop cost effective that met or exceeded the customer’s expectations.
