I Graduated from Auburn University with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. While in college I Co-Oped at Mando America, a Tier 1 automotive supplier, for several semesters where I focused on learning and applying Lean principals. Ideally, I would like to pursue a career in the automotive industry or a Lean practicing organization so I can apply all that I've learned in a meaningful way. I was also charged with optimizing the teardown and inspection station/procedure for defective struts. I then got transferred to the controls engineering department. While there I worked with debugging PLC logic as well as working to fix mechanical issues with the machinery. Again I was charged with an overarching task for this stint of work. The plant was in the process of upgrading the hardware so it was my job to ensure the compatibility of the older system with the newer system.
