Responsibilities include ideating, planning and producing studio and on location shoots, including branded content; statistical research and analysis; using analytics to inform social strategy; writing scripts and reviewing the overall quality of writing across the channel; shooting and presenting videos; conducting on-screen interviews with athletes, fans and coaches; editing short and long-form video content using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and AfterEffects. Brands I have worked with include Sky Bet, Puma, EA, The EFL, Now TV, Football Manager, Heineken, and UEFA. Adapting to changing trends, for example the commercial shift to vertical video in recent years that has required repurposing content for YouTube shorts, Instagram reels, Snapchat and TikTok, as well as creating engaging bespoke content, including branded activations, for these platforms. In 2015 I co-founded the 'Football Pie' blog, which incorporates a podcast, feature articles, live-streaming and a YouTube channel centred around goings on in Premier League and European football, as well as areas of the sport that are less talked about in the mainstream media e.g. Non-League.My role within the project has included writing, producing and editing a weekly ‘Premier League Predictions’ YouTube show, a bi-weekly podcast and written features.
