Compund Operator
• Responsible for setup and operation of equipment which blends, mixes and packages liquid and dry chemicals for customer products. • Position ensures highest quality product at lowest cost while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements. • Sets up, starts, and run all machinery, checking all controls operations and safety procedures. • Weighs product ingredients to meet specifications of finished product before loading machine. • Monitors production and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency and troubleshoots as needed. • Operates machinery to mix, extrude/discharge or handle materials according to procedure. • Examines finish product to ensure accuracy of requested product. • Collects samples for lab review evaluation, to ensure no adjustment is needed. • Delivers any problems that that may arise to management. • Performs daily machine cleaning before new products can be mixed. • Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc. • Conducts training and retraining improvement processes. • Complies with all safety and work regulations.
