Embedded Engineer Team Lead
CurrentRepresent the company and support the end user customer as an embedded on-site engineering technician. Provide electro-mechanical, controls, and machine vision Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the end user on Automated guided Vehicles (AGVs). Maintenance Supervisor
• As the Plant Maintenance Supervisor, my main objective is to direct maintenance activities for the organization, following duties personally and through employees, while maintaining a safe working environment. • Some of the duties include Achieving production targets for the plant. Conduct and follow a rigorous Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). • Keeping records equipment failure and providing timely information to management. • Ensuring breakdowns are analyzed and actions are taken at root cause levels for eliminating the recurrence of problems. Establish a good spare parts management system.
Controls Engineering Technician
• As a CET he was responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all electrical and controls related problems with plant machinery. This requires me to be familiar with/utilize Allen Bradley RS Logics PLC troubleshooting skills and Bailey DCS controls. • While also working with instrumentation troubleshooting and repairs as needed, extensive troubleshooting and repair of relay logic, P&ID loops, process controllers like automatic control valves, temperature controllers, pressure and flow instruments. • The CET team is also responsible for all electrically related building maintenance and upgrades. . • In addition to these responsibilities, I keep up with a Preventative maintenance schedule by performing timely maintenance tasks and completing and tracking these tasks in SAP.

I was hired on through a temp service in December of 2013. From there the company allowed me to test for the 1st Mechatronics Apprenticeship Program offered at this facility. During this program I received a great deal of knowledge of the manufacturing work environment. The program allowed me to receive an Associate in Applied Science, General Technology - Industrial Maintenance Mechanic; A certificate for Electrician in Automated Controls; and a Certificate of completion from the United States Department of Labor for the Mechatronics Apprenticeship Program. I am Currently supporting the company in their maintenance department.
