About Michael Mcdermott

Michael has 28 years of experience in business improvement, information technology and large transformative initiatives in healthcare, the public sector and regulated industries. His first involvement was hospital restructuring in south-eastern Ontario, after which he spent six years supporting data warehousing, service redesign and quality improvement efforts in the Calgary Health Region. Michael then relocated to Edmonton, where he managed high-profile IT and service improvement projects for the Government of Alberta and Capital Health. He then moved to the private sector to assist other organizations across western Canada as a senior consultant. The CII service is currently rolling out to physicians across Alberta.
