Highlights include:1. App profiling to locate rendering bottlenecks.2. Fast identification of root cause of bugs throughout the app.3. Real-time responsivity to issues, as the team was perpetually on a very tight timeline.4. Integration of the app with an Android Wear (smart watch) app implementation. Updates to the same.5. Continuous communication with team in-person at the office or via a dedicated set of Slack channels.6. Broad issue 'co-ownership', as dictated by Disney Interactive's fast and competent internal culture.7. Issue resolution extended into use of Unity framework and discovery of issues with pre-release versions of Google's Cardboard SDK.

The MyRa App for Crescendo Biosciences was developed by an overseas group and then transitioned to me for issue resolution and preparation for store listing. The app had some unacceptable performance issues. The following list highlights significant changes:1. Reduced PDF generation time from > 60 seconds to ~1-2 seconds on most phone models. This was accomplished this by replacing current generation routines with hand-optimized code.2. Corrected database access / resource issues throughout the app.3. Corrected Android view system implementations throughout the app that produced inconsistent, buggy behavior in many use cases not normally exercised by QA staff.4. Refactored the codebase for a 40% reduction, producing a much greater degree of reliability, comprehensibility and maintainability.5. Identified conflicting requirements and made suggestions for how to best handle these requirements.6. Acted as a resource on what an Android user 'expects' given normal use of an Android phone (where this differs from IOS)

Had all responsibility for developing the Fiddle app (client) and server, including automated artist discovery on a per-city basis. The app was developed on both Android and iOS and allowed users to find live music (with audio samples) in their local area. The app was developed with a special emphasis on performance and deployed to both major app stores simultaneously.

Automated synchronization of the online store with the WinRetail POS system. Developed online payments processing integration with Authorize.net and, separately, Chase Payments. Flights to Friends was a Facebook app developed to show you the cheapest airfare to your friend list over the next few weekends. It was essentially a mashup of information from Facebook (cities) with data from Kayak (travel information) along with adjunct services to make the whole thing work.

The 'applicant portal', a set of web tools for managing data from and about applicants to the university.2. The 'faculty portal', a set of web tools used by faculty members to assign grades and review attendance.4. Was responsible for contributing to the overall application, developing a calendar implementation, developing an SDK for external use and (along with the rest of the technical team) troubleshooting any issues as they arose.
