CurrentThis corporate based position will lead the implementation of a prevention-focused health, safety and environmental (HSE) and risk management program. Establish, execute and deliver corporate specific strategies that support Horizon’s overall HSE objectives, including security and crisis preparedness objectives. Duties include: • In cooperation with operational management, develop a HSE strategy in support of corporate and security strategic goals to reduce injuries, accidents and incidents • Support site management in the implementation of HSE plans and ensure compliance • Design and implement metrics and audits to track progress and identify areas of concern • Develop and execute training programs • Lead the investigation process to determine root cause and corrective action • Interface with various regulatory bodies and insurance carriers • Communicate effectively with executive management and internal departments • Act as a leader for change to drive a zero incident HSE culture throughout the company
