About Michael Mcgregor

Chief executive with 30+ years' experience in leadership and fundraising in the cultural sector. Since 2008 I've been Director of the Wordsworth Trust, an independent museum and Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation (part of the Cumbria Museum Consortium) based in the Lake District World Heritage Site. I Chair the Cumbria Museum Directors Group and represent the sector on a number of panels and committees. Prior to this my career was predominantly in arts fundraising, specialising in grant-making trusts, individual giving and corporate sponsorship.
