Working for Alstom for the past 29 years I have gained extensive experience and knowledge of trains, rolling stock systems and equipment. My varied roles and responsibilities have included most aspects of engineering including: design improvement, train reliability management, commissioning, type testing, modifications, site management, technical support and delivery of system relevant training courses.In recent years I have been involved with leading train reliability growth projects and the associated design change processes on projects within the UK. This has involved managing and designing significant train system upgrades to achieve reliability performance targets. This has also included the provision of technical support and training courses. Previously I have been involved at various stages of several projects both UK and overseas involving; Site Management; train build; commissioning, type testing, warranty support, reliability and performance improvement projects.
