About Michael Mclaughlin

Michael McLaughlin, actor, award-winning filmmaker and business owner, brings a wealth of experience in event management having founded Disappear Here International Film Festival in 2017. He has worked with the LA Irish Film Festival, the Dublin Theatre Festival and has spent 6 years as Head of Interactive for TV3 Television in Dublin. In 2021 he co-founded ‘Black Rock City Film Festival’ at Burning Man in Nevada. He is a founding member of the Ballyliffin Coastal Challenge, and is a previous board member of Inishowen Tourism. Michael is the current Culture Spokesperson for the Donegal Green Party. He was also Ireland's first Guinness Brand Ambassador, a role created for him by Diageo International.
