I currently work at UCL at the centre for Advanced Research Computing, developing specialised software for academic projects in a range of different fields, using C++, Python, and other languages. I am also involved with teaching, developing and delivering teaching materials to students and researchers. I have three years of experience at Lusis in research and development. My research there has focused on privacy protocols and distributed ledger technology, alongside working in the dev team on delivering software projects in C++. During my PhD and post-doc at UCL I was interested in research involving Bayesian inference, parameter estimation using nested sampling, machine learning, and modified gravity models. I have written papers, given presentations, and written software for academic use. I have a mixed physics and computer science background, and enjoy creative, mathematical problem solving in many forms including physical and geometric reasoning, mathematical modelling, algorithms, cryptography, and foundations of computing.
