This group consisted of: the Managing Partner (Harry Moehringer), and two Service Line Leaders of the Firm who were Steve Eliach as the Tax leader and myself as the former Attest leader. Besides the three members already mentioned, the Management Group was rounded out by our Firm's CFO (Brian Fox) and our General Counsel (Alyssa Forslund). Our role was to assist the Executive Committee (which met monthly) by going over a variety of Firm matters that might need more immediate attention. Accordingly, we meet weekly.

In addition to client service responsibilities and helping to oversee the Nonprofit, Government and Healthcare Group, I was responsible for overseeing the Firm's attest services which included: audits, reviews, compilations and agreed upon procedures, amongst other attest services. I was responsible for the Firm's overall quality and growth in this practice area.

This was a nine member committee elected by the Firm's partners to three year terms. The committee assisted the Managing Partner in overseeing Firm governance, financial accountability, partner admissions, strategic initiatives and merger activity, amongst others.

I was responsible for overall direction and quality of services rendered to over 150 nonprofit and government clients. ============================================I oversaw the group’s day-to-day operations as well as developed strategy, set policy, and acquired and developed talent. In addition to my managerial duties, I maintained client responsibilities and frequently represented the firm in presenting to boards of directors. My specialties included audit and tax for a wide variety of nonprofit entities, including third-party government-funded organizations as well as those that were contribution-based. I have had the good fortune of having partner-level experience in both global and regional professional services firm environments. While in college, I worked part time in a social service agency with the developmentally disabled. This experience of being a “direct care worker” proved to be formative in my decision to concentrate in the nonprofit industry.
