Worked to further the winter cycling research of Dr Farnaz Sadeghpour and Dr J. D. Hunt.Data was previously gathered on winter cycling preferences in the city of Calgary Alberta. I was tasked with creating a Python program that could interpret this data as well as future data sets. The program generated a Utility Function, which would allow individuals to identify the usefulness of specific cycling infrastructure and the effects of various winter conditions on cycling. Various different demographics could be compared. Among other things, this information could be used to provide evidence for the necessity of investments in maintenance and creation of cycling infrastructure.Learned Python and became well versed in the use of Utility Functions and data analysis for transportation planning.

As an intern for WSP I had the opportunity to be involved in various projects from rail yards to LRT stations. I developed a proficiency with Civil 3D and learned about the methods used to manage projects.
